PREPARING FOR WINTER WITH UNICEF

"Firewood has become very expensive now," says Serhii, "Last winter we saved up two cars worth of firewood, and now we can only order one."
This time we visited the town of Sviatohirsk, where we met the family of Serhii and Olha and their two children. The parents work as teachers and, despite the war, continue to teach their children at school. Together with our UNICEF partners, we continue to take care of families with children and provide them with the most necessary things to make the winter warmer for them.
In total, thanks to our partners, we have provided more than 290 tonnes of fuel briquettes, 91 sets of children's winter clothes and 139 warm winter blankets for 100 families in Sviatohirsk territorial community.
