We provide drinking water to the residents of Zelenodolsk.
The residents of Zelenodolsk have long faced a serious problem — limited access to water.

Due to damaged infrastructure, ensuring a stable water supply for the residents of Zelenodolsk is becoming a challenge: people are forced to collect water in bottles, carry it from wells or wait for the pressure in the system to be restored for a short time.

To improve this situation, Charitable Foundation "Angels of Salvation" in cooperation with Dan Church Aid and Norwegian Church Aid in Ukraine and with funding from the Norwegian government, has been drilling new water boreholes for eight months to provide the city with alternative, independent sources of water supply.

Five boreholes have already been drilled to date. Some of them have already been put into operation and are supplying drinking water to the residents of Zelenodolsk.

For the locals, the new boreholes have been a real lifesaver, as access to water means a return to a normal life.

‘We never dreamed that we would finally have our own good drinking water,’ says Mr. Volodymyr, a resident of Zelenodolsk.

The drilling of boreholes is being carried out as part of a project implemented by the Charitable Foundation "Angels of Salvation" in partnership with DanChurchAid (DCA) and Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) in Ukraine, with funding from the Norwegian government.
