Psychological and legal support team continues to work in Donetsk region
It is usually difficult for people to admit to themselves that they have problems with their psychological state. However, this is an important stage that becomes crucial in finding ways to solve these problems.
The mobile team that includes a psychologist helps people cope with this. Frankly speaking, at first it was difficult for local residents of the areas close to the frontline to communicate with us because of distrust and fear, but now people come with clearly defined requests and questions.
During the team's work, we have heard many traumatic stories: someone lost their home, survived shelling, or saw the death of a loved one with their own eyes. All this is an unbearable burden that is difficult to cope with on your own.
We care about the condition of everyone who seeks help and hold as many sessions as necessary to discuss worrying issues in confidence. The psychologist not only communicates with people, but also gives advice on how to control their emotions.
We are happy to be able to implement an important project together with our partners that helps many people understand themselves and survive the loss.
The mobile team was created by the CF "Angels of Salvation", with the support of the international humanitarian organisation Triangle Génération Humanitaire and funding from CDCS (The Crisis and Support Centre).
