Last week, on Mine Awareness Day, our UNICEF Child-Friendly Space centers in Tomakivka, Marhanets and Nikopol held a series of themed events to ensure that every child, regardless of age, knew the basic rules for handling dangerous objects.
Quizzes, quests and reading the first issue of the interesting comic book ""Patron the Dog and His Adventures"" interested all the children. And the most anticipated was an interactive lesson in VR glasses!
These classes are extremely relevant, as Child-Friendly Space centers operate in communities close to the frontline. Children need to know the algorithm of actions when they see suspicious objects because it can save lives. The accessible form of lessons makes important things simple and understandable, so all the children were delighted!
